Leadership

One of the most active individuals in hotel investing, over the last twenty years Mr. Reynolds directed the purchase of over 400 hotels the Apple REIT Companies and most recently led the acquisition department as Executive Vice President - Director of Acquisitions/Dispositions and Portfolio Management for Apple Hospitality REIT (NYSE: APLE).​

Prior to entering hospitality Mr. Reynolds acquired multifamily for Cornerstone Realty Income Trust, Inc., a publicly traded apartment REIT that owned, acquired, developed and managed apartment communities.​

Mr. Reynolds serves on the Board of Advisors for the College of Business and Economics at Radford University, the Advisory Board of the Pamplin School of Business’ School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at Virginia Tech, and is a member of the Real Estate Circle of Excellence, advisors to the Kornblau Real Estate Program of the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University.​

Mr. Reynolds holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Radford University and a Master of Science in Business with concentration in Real Estate Valuation from Virginia Commonwealth University.  He currently resides in Richmond, VA with his wife and three children.

Mr. Quinby has over twenty years of experience in investment and financial management in the real estate industry, most recently serving as the Senior Vice President of Investments & Capital Markets for Apple Hospitality REIT (NYSE: APLE).  During his tenure with the Apple REIT Companies Mr. Quinby was involved in all aspects of strategic and capital planning for the REIT and its predecessor companies, which included the sale transactions of Apple Hospitality Two, Apple REIT Five and Apple REIT Six.  As a key member of the executive team at Apple his background brings to MainStreit a wealth of experience in the areas of financial management, capital markets, and investments.  ​

Prior to joining Apple in 2005, Mr. Quinby was a Principal with the Page Reynolds Companies which focused on urban redevelopment projects utilizing historic tax credits.    ​

Mr. Quinby graduated from Furman University with a B.A. in Business Management and has an M.B.A. with a focus in Finance & Accounting from the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University.  He resides in Richmond, VA with his wife and two children.
