We founded MainStreit Inc. with the goal of creating outsized returns for our investors by acquiring best in class hospitality properties through one of the most profound industry downturns in modern American history.
Our acquisition criteria includes both branded and unbranded upscale hotels and we will be leveraging our team’s extensive experience and network in the hospitality sector. We focus on both primary and secondary markets throughout the United States and markets with diverse and insulated demand drivers such as such as major universities, medical centers, and diverse corporate sectors that help provide stability, especially within the current economic environment.
We pursue both single-asset and portfolio transactions and hotels that can be purchased with or without the encumbrance of management or franchise contracts.
We seek properties that have historically provided consistent cashflow and, given the displacement of valuations in today’s market, can offer significant asset value appreciation over a 3 to 5 year hold period.
Our experiences through the historic downturns of the financial crisis and 9/11 tragedy taught the MainStreit team to focus on identifying assets and markets with strong fundamentals that have historically proven capable of accelerated recovery. Our team will work to drive revenue, increase profitability, and maximize asset value.
